There's always something happening at the harbour, so whether you're just going for a stroll to see the boats or your're coming back from a boat trip or you just want to get away from the maddening crowd, this is a great eaterie ... in fact this restaurant really stands out as one of Cyprus' finest fish taverns ... just check their Trip Advisor reviews ...
... they call them seasonal 'Rain Gifts', and this is where this place excels ... because this Tony and the family are dedicated to bringing you the freshest and most sought after wild Cypriot produce, like baby wild Artichokes, Snails, fresh Asparagus, and a regular trip to Paphos to find rare Wild Mushrooms, is all part of the norm, Tony often walking 15 to 25 km a day to bring you the best selection that night ... needless to say if you like wild Mushrooms omg, this place is a must !!!
... the first thing that impressed me was the fact they don't have a freezer in the place, so meat, fish and vegetables are ordered fresh every day ... brilliant ! Must have something to do with why they were voted in the top three restaurants in Ayia Napa by Trip Advisor in 2017, and btw that makes them No:1 on the area of the square ..
This is an awesome pub with an excellent reputation and I highly recommend a visit, oh, mention What's On and you'll be in for a nice surprise !
They serve traditional Cypriot cuisine or as Artimaki says ''pure horthiatiko'' or village style in English, and the food is always made fresh, so it'll take at least 20 minutes to be served, but let me just say; its worth every minute !
... it's almost inevitable that this place goes from home dining to partying like only the Cypriots know how!
It's a mini resort, with a spacious area boasting a large swimming pool and cafe-style pool bar, surrounded by mature trees, delicious green lawn, palm sun shades, canvas sails, and a lovely ambiance in a truly wonderful setting with free sunbeds and free WiFi ... and there's nightly entertainment in the gardens throughout the summer ... and they only close for January ...
It's on the entrance to Bar street, and it's one of the oldest bars in Napa. Andreas and Karina, who are completely 'down to earth' absolutely love their pub and have continued it's 30 year tradition by being one of the few bars that stay open all year and naturally it's a favourite with locals and long stay workers and of course they look after anyone that wants to join them , it's sort of one big happy family !
Let's start by saying this is a fish lovers haven! ... the setting, is on the coast, with mature trees, casting shadows over pristine lawns, with scattered sun loungers and Hawaii style thatched umbrellas, sweeping down to the tiny sandy bay. Here and there, little alcoves of places to hide, some with sofas and others with hammocks to chill to the max. Off the restaurant, terraces with wooden decking overlooking a tiny sandy bay and a panoramic view of the med, and btw, this fish restaurant was nominated for Time Out Fish Restaurants, and I think they deserve it !"
Situated just to the right of Ayia Napa Harbour, a little more serene, relax out front in modern chilled ambience, or under the huge covered terrace and gardens out back, overlooking the med ... it really is a perfect place to enjoy premium seafood delights and there's a huge pristine lawn and a play area for the kids with swings, trampolines, tunnels, slides and things ...
