... they call them seasonal 'Rain Gifts', and this is where this place excels ... because this Tony and the family are dedicated to bringing you the freshest and most sought after wild Cypriot produce, like baby wild Artichokes, Snails, fresh Asparagus, and a regular trip to Paphos to find rare Wild Mushrooms, is all part of the norm, Tony often walking 15 to 25 km a day to bring you the best selection that night ... needless to say if you like wild Mushrooms omg, this place is a must !!!
This spacious family run restaurant has been a popular favourite for over 3 decades and naturally it gets packed. The decor of stone arches, plants, palm trees and courtyards adds to the relaxed ambiance, whilst the proprietor 'Paul' will make you feel like one of the family, many customers are still going back for more after thirty years!
They serve traditional Cypriot cuisine or as Artimaki says ''pure horthiatiko'' or village style in English, and the food is always made fresh, so it'll take at least 20 minutes to be served, but let me just say; its worth every minute !
