Jean Maycock moved to Cyprus from North Manchester in 2008 to retire in a warm climate, choosing Cyprus for many reasons, mainly its history, mythology and an aura that has attracted the art world for literally thousands of years. Jean immediately realised this was where she could deepen her Yoga practice.

The course is well managed, self-funded and very well maintained, and tbh, suits mid to high handicap players ... originally carved out by Major Franks RE and his engineers back in 1964 ... It's 18 holes, split by a gated road, 11 holes one side and 7 the other, with artificial grass greens ... totaling 6,500 yards, there's 4 x Par 3's 12 x Par 4's and 2 x Par 5's ... and a course total of Par 70 ... with the course record an excellent 66 by ex-pro Tony Lassia
Situated in the middle of Protaras Bay, without argument, one of Cyprus' finest beaches ... it's a family business, run by two brothers Alexi and Kyri, btw, they've been on the beach since they were in nappies, or not as the case may be, things don't change lol
This really is a lovely initiative by local, ex-pat and international artists and crafters from all over the world and a lovely way to spend a family day out doing a little shopping and bartering and I really hope you'll go along to give them some support!

on arrival I have to say, the place looks really cool, very Thai and professional ... and the Full Body, One Hour Thai Oil massage I chose was, as close to the best massages I've ever had! So, while I was there I asked owner and masseuse 'Deang' to tell me more ... oh, btw their name, 'Kobkhun' in Thailand means 'Thank you'!, that's exactly what I said after my massage.
Jayne told me she would always give her friends massage, and she became so good at it that her friends used to pay her, she continued to explain; "I sort of, have this ability to 'Empath' with friends, to be able to find and then take away the hurt", so she decided to do it professionally, taking her Spa Massage Training Course at the Academy at the University of Nicosia ... passing with flying colours ...
