Haris bar looks the part as you arrive, a cool low modern building, even cooler signage, its comfortable, with spacious inside and outside seating on the covered beer gardens style patios, and out back, a lawn surrounded by sun terraces with full size family pool in the middle for their clients kids to play in free ... oh and an awesome British chef creating a really good Mediterranean menu !
Home from Home There's three, Tea for Two's in Paphos, sort of gives you an idea which way these eateries are going. Without doubt a fantastic choice for breakfast, served all day, and arguably the best in town, or lunch, just cool and breezy in the summer or warm and toasty in the winter months, and a home from home dinner menu, fantastic!, or maybe just indulge in coffees' cocktails, drinks and desserts, they're all home made, delicious and huge portions! ... oh and just a little bit naughty !!!
One of Kyp's favourite, set up on a ridge, above the rock garden, is this lovely low rise cottage style Italian Bistro. The result of a dream come true for Julie, once in the public eye, and Rich,a squadie from UK, their very own Bistro, so they can work together as a family, a place for all the family and their pets, somewhere to eat good food and enjoy good entertainment, opening on the first of the first, this year, I'd say they got off to a good start!
It's a family run business and a more International eaterie would be hard to find, with Mediterranean, Greek, Italian and Indian cuisines to add to the traditional Cypriot choices on the menu, Andonis calls it Multi Cultural Fusion ... that says it all !!!

Vangelis said he had extensive training in Naples, not at collage but at an academy at a traditional pizzeria, with top pizza chefs. The rewards; pizzas as authentic as you can get this side of Italy, the dough, 4 simple ingredients, hand made, but fermented for 48 Hours before use, a Neapolitan influence, which enhances the flavour, then topped with your favourite toppings, and baked to perfection in a traditional stone fired revolving oven ... the result a a thin base with a light fluffy crust ... I have to say the delicious
This brother and sister team are originally from Bucharest, Roumania, where Demi studied and qualified in catering at a private school, both persuaded to move to Cyprus by their father, an artist extraordinaire, who hand crafted fireplaces, and was the genius behind the creation of the inside of the wood fired pizza oven that cooks your pizza to absolute perfection, whilst Demi and Gina designed the fascia and the rest of the restaurant ... a rustic feel, minimalistic, comfortable, and traditional with a beautiful garden out back, sails providing the shade as you watch the sunset over the sea view ...
